You can create an account by going directly to the registration page: the Venture on Board guide will help you complete your profile so you will be ready to jump on board. Creating an account with VOB is totally free, for everyone. However, you will need to successfully complete your registration before booking a reservation. Is it possible to connect my account with Facebook?
Yes, it is possible to connect your account with Venture on Board by finding Facebook clicking on the box Connect. Once you are connected through Facebook, you can access it directly with your Facebook account. If you would like to create a new password for Venture on Board, follow the instructions under ‘Lost password’. How can I cancel my account?
You can cancel your account from the ‘Delete Account’ option on the menu. It is not possible to reactivate a cancelled account, and all historical data and reservations under that account will automatically be cancelled and not restorable. Can Venture On Board deactivate, suspend or cancel my account?
Based on the Terms and Conditions, certain cases allow for the deactivation, suspension or cancellation of an account. Any pending or confirmed reservations may be cancelled. I forgot my password or need to change my password
Follow the option of having your password being reset by visiting “Lost Pasword”. Enter the email address of your account and a link to reset your password will be sent to you. To change a password click on the option to “Change Pasword” and insert your old password followed by the new password.
How do I complete my account?
Once you have started the registration process, you will be asked a few questions such as your full name, a profile photo with your face, boating experience in navigation and/or working experience, tourist guide, etc.. More information can be found on the treatment of information by Venture on Board in the Privacy Policy. How do I add or change my profile picture?
To ensure the trust and safety of all users of the site, we require both guests and hosts to upload a profile photo. Reservations are more prevalent with people with have legitimate profile photos and complete profiles. You can change your profile picture by going to Edite Profile>Photo How do reviews work?

How do I receive notifications?
Notification messages relating to your activities, reservation requests, etc. will be available as an icon on your homepage. You will also receive an email notification. How can I contact Venture on Board
In case of any problem with the site send an email with your request and you will be contacted shortly to listen to concerns and resolve any problems. Check our Frequently Asked Questions to see if your question can be addressed by previous responses, or send a message to your Boat or Service Manager that may be more appropriate to answer specific questions about your requests.
In the instance you don’t receive an email notification, verify the following settings:
• Go to Profile>Edit Profile and make sure your email address has been entered in correctly. Make any necessary changes as needed and save your corrections.
• Verify you have selected in the notification settings to receive emails.
• check you have not received the emails in the Spam or Junk folder of your email.
• Check if there are additional filters or routing rules that may have resulted in emails from Venture on Board may not be received or go into folders elsewhere.
• Your email service provide may also be affecting the timely receipt of emails. Configuration issues or problems with their network may cause delays affecting your account.
Guest: When will I be charged?
The charges to the guest will be made at the moment your reservation request is accepted by the VoB Manager. The VoB Manager has 24 hours to accept or refuse your request. If the reservation request has not been accepted or refused within 24 hours, all potential charges will be eliminated. If the guest has chosen a payment solution of a ‘preauthorized’ amount, the amount will be released or reimbursed according to the time from of your crediting service. What payment systems can be used?
It is essential to use the payment systems that Venture on Board provides to ensure that both parties apply to the Terms and Conditions for any cancellations, redemption requests, charges of deposits and so on. What are the costs included in the amount charged to customers called ”Total Cost”?

The post-use service that may be charges are: How are the Booking Costs and Service Costs divided between Vob Managers and Customers?
Customers: a “Customer booking service” fee of 5% to 15% is charged, automatically calculated on the total “rates and charges” imposed by the Vob Manager. Percentages may be subject to variation as set forth in our “Terms and Conditions” and vary depending on particular events or type of Yacht or tour and service you are booking. In case of cancellation of the reservation by the customer, the service costs are not refundable. The total cost of the customer will be charged at the time of acceptance by Vob Manager. Includes Boat Rate, Customer Booking Cost and any Cleaning Fee, Additional and Optional Costs. Vob Manager: a 3% commission is retained as a “management fee” calculated on the amount that is incurred based on the fee and the additional expense chosen by the Vob Manager. If expected, the value added tax, calculated on the commission applied, will also be deducted. This amount will be deducted from the amount that will be credited to the Vob Manager account 48 hours after the check-in. What should the Vob Manager consider and calculate in choosing the rates to apply?

Rates are displayed in the currency determined by the Vob Manager, but the amount is also shown in different currencies, based on a market change that is updated daily. Yes, it may happen that the total paid during the booking varies, but variations are agreed with the customer such as, for example, variation of the number of people arriving on board, sailing fees, stay, local, natural parks etc. Or any other agreed extras. These payments should have been highlighted in the listing and agreed with the Vob Manager. If, however, there are unjustified claims on the site, or you do not include what extra terms are agreed at a time after the reservation, NO PAYMENT must be DONE. It could, therefore, be the case when the customer pays for example in dollars, while Vob Manager will receive euros as he has selected. In this case, payments in a different currency are subject to a market-rate conversion rate at the time of the debit. The costs of such conversion depend on the banking system.
